    • And so much more!

  • In your first session, the therapist will assess your posture, range of motion, and seek to identify areas where your fascial tissue is constricted. The therapeutic strategy will be tailored according to the specific findings including locations of your fascial restrictions. It is possible that you might receive treatment in parts that don't directly relate to your symptoms. However, these seemingly unrelated areas might be exerting a pull on neighboring structures that are sensitive to pain, thereby exacerbating your symptoms.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or give a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • The frequency of visits is determined entirely by the symptoms, the results from the clinician's assessments, the client's adherence to their home exercise regimen, and what fits best with your needs. We will provide a recommendation tailored to the clinical findings. Treatment is individualized and often times depends on many factors including the individual’s history. Visits can vary from multiple times a week to a monthly basis depending on ones needs.

  • We specifically reserve your appointment slot for you, and as such, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Please be aware you will be charged in full, should you provide less than 24 hours' notice for changes, cancellations, or no show. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or a no-show, the client is responsible for paying the full session fee. Excusable cancellations will be charged the full fee and applied to an appointment booked within the following two weeks. If you do not book a follow up appointment within those two weeks you forfeit the funds for that appointment.

You can expect your sessions to start and end on scheduled times. Therefore if you are late to your appointment, the remaining time will be provided.

Maryland Myofascial Release has the right to waive the fee in the case of a significant emergency.

  • Maryland Myofascial Release is an out of network provider. As a provider not contracted with health insurance plans, we are not bound by the limitations imposed by such policies. Payment is required the beginning of each visit.

  • Yes. After booking your session, intake forms will be emailed to you and should be completed before your initial evaluation. Completing the forms in advance helps ensure your appointment time is focused on evaluation and treatment. If forms are not completed beforehand, your treatment time will be reduced, and the appointment cannot be extended or rescheduled for the full session time. Thank you for being respectful of your time, our providers’ time, and the time of other clients.
